Description

Another exceptional release from That Boutique-y Whisky Company's.

This is the fourth small-batch, cask-strength whisky from the Isle of Arran. We have heard it is deliciously sea fresh and citrusy which is typical of the distillery.

Only 1270 bottles were produced in batch 4.

From That Boutique-y Whisky Company's -

The Arran distillery sits on the Isle of Arran, the largest island in the Firth of Clyde. Founded relatively recently in 1993, though the development was halted as there was a family of eagles raising their young in the roof! One of those eagles can be seen on the labels of our Arran bottling, pinching a bottle of Arran from Boutique-y artist Emily Chappell and her chum who are stranded on the island. What would an eagle do with a bottle of whisky, we hear you ask? Wouldn’t you like to know...

Prior to any bid being placed on a lot, close up visual inspection is to be carried out. If you are unsure in any way about the condition of the said lot, click “ask a question” above. More in-depth descriptions and additional photos can be taken upon request. Otherwise, lots are sold as seen in the pictures. The bidder understands that once you have bid, you are stating you understand this and that the checks stated above have been carried out and you are happy with the lot's condition.

TGWA may try to highlight conditions of interest of lots being sold in the auction. The majority of the items being sold are of second-hand nature and TGWA cannot be held responsible for any conditions that may not have been specified when listing the lots on the site. Thus, the bidder fully understands, prior to confirming a bid they are happy with the condition of the lot, whether it has conditions noted or otherwise.

Should there be a discrepancy between the photo and the lot title/description, the photograph holds the precedent. No claim can be lodged against a misdescribed item as all lots are sold as seen.

Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, the condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit. Loss and breakage cover is available at 3% of the hammer price as standard. If the lot is not insured, no claim can be lodged against the courier or The Grand Whisky Auction for breakage or loss in transit.
