Description
This is the first release from the Dornoch distillery. The Thompson brother's whisky journey began was before 2013, however, their bottling line production in 2013 really put them into the public eye.
Simon and Phil began distilling in 2017 in the old fire station, which has been renamed Dornoch distillery. The distillery has the ability to produce approximately 12,000 litres a year with the brothers only using organic strains of barley.
This is their inaugural release from the distillery. It was distilled on the 5th of July 2017 and released in November 2020. Maturation took place in a first fill ex Oloroso sherry butt #001. Only 893 bottles have been produced.

Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, the condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit. Loss and breakage cover is available at 3% of the hammer price as standard. If the lot is not insured, no claim can be lodged against the courier or The Grand Whisky Auction for breakage or loss in transit.
