Description

This lot contains 5x 70 cl, Hobbister, Shiel, Quercus, Yesnaby & Hillhead.

  • Hobbister: first release in the Highland Park Keystone Series. Hobbister takes its name from a peat moor.  This environment creates a unique aromatic peat consisting of decaying heather and plants rather than the trees that characterise the peat used by other distilleries. 51.4% ABV, 70cl.
  • Shiel: second release in the Highland Park Keystones Release. The shovels, made of wood, that are used to turn the barley is where the name Shiel originates. 48.1% ABV, 70cl.
  • Quercus: third release in the Highland Park Keystones Release. The bottle takes its name from the kind of Oak used to make their casks. They are sent to Spain (Jerez) in order to in sherry before returning to the distillery. 48.1% ABV, 70cl.
  • Yesnaby:  fourth release in the Highland Park Keystones Release. The bottle takes its name from the cliff on the coast of the Islands. Atlantic side. The bottle from First-fill Sherry seasoned American Oak casks. 58.9% ABV, 70cl.
  • Hillhead: last release in the Highland Park Keystone Release. This bottle marries both flavour and strength and was matured in three casks: European Oak Sherry, American Oak Sherry and American Oak Bourbon. 46% ABV, 70cl.

Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, the condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit. Loss and breakage cover is available at 3% of the hammer price as standard. If the lot is not insured, no claim can be lodged against the courier or The Grand Whisky Auction for breakage or loss in transit.
