Description
The Michter’s distillery has had a slightly turbulent past. The distillery was abandoned in 1989, however, the A.H. Hirsch Reserve release proved to be a turning point as it was described as "The Best Bourbon You'll Never Taste” by Charles K Cowdery. So good he dedicated a whole book to the bourbon. A cult following grew for this great distillery which as mentioned abandoned lots of its old stock which had been maturing nicely.
Ever since, the distillery has had a large cash injection with new warehousing and bottling facilities.
This 2021 release is one of only 687 bottles. Batch Number #21I2612 and confirmed to be sourced from Brown-Forman.
