Description

 This lot includes 3 x 70cl:

Glenallachie - 16-Year-Old - Billy Walker 50th Anniversary - Past Edition: This bottling is to celebrate Billy's momentous career at Glenallachie distillery over the past 50 years. Bottled in February 2022 this 16-year-old has matured in sherry butts before being bottled at a cask strength of 57.1% ABV.

Glenallachie - 16 Year Old - Billy Walker 50th Anniversary - Present Edition: This is the present edition, which is the second release in the series after the past edition. After these two releases, there will be a third...the future.  Bottled in June 2022, there are only 2900 bottles of this expression released. Initial maturation took place in PX and Oloroso Sherry casks. It was then enhanced in specially selected Mizunara casks which are very scarce and expensive species of Japanese oak. 48%.

Glenallachie - 4 Year Old Peated - Billy Walker 50th Anniversary - Future Edition: Bottled in February 2022 this 4-year-old is from its first peated distillation. This landmark bottling offers a special opportunity to gain early access to his peated work and how it is developing before the upcoming range is created and unveiled. Bottled at cask strength 60.2%.

'We are so fortunate to be steering this great distillery into the future. I think the best is yet to come."

The bidder understands that once you have bid, you are stating you understand this and that the checks stated above have been carried out and you are happy with the lot's condition.

TGWA may try to highlight conditions of interest of lots being sold in the auction. Thus, the bidder fully understands, prior to confirming a bid they are happy with the condition of the lot, whether it has conditions noted or otherwise.

Should there be a discrepancy between the photo and the lot title/description, the photograph holds the precedent. No claim can be lodged against a misdescribed item as all lots are sold as seen.
