Description
Macduff Distillery was built in the early 60s alongside the Glendeveron river near the town of Banff. Unusually, the bottles from this Distillery take the name of the river rather than the Distillery, though independent bottlings are occasionally released under the name Macduff. Originally built with only two stills, by 1968, 6 years after the opening, two more had been added. The Distillery has its own cooperage, as well as the purpose built warehouse.
This single malt whisky was distilled on the 23rd of March 1972 and matured in single cask #2355 for 31 years before being bottled in December 2003 for First Cask Malt Circle Members.

If the lot is not insured, no claim can be lodged against the courier or The Grand Whisky Auction for breakage or loss in transit.
