Description

The Dalmore Rivers Collection includes four bottlings named after four famous Scottish Salmon rivers, The Dee, The Spey, The Tweed and The Tay. Each expression was bottled at 40%.  This lot includes 4 x 70cl bottlings.

The Dee Dram was released to help raise money for the River Dee Trust - a conservation trust which improves the habitat along the tributaries helps ease obstructions to fish migration and plants native trees along the riverbanks and upper sections of the Dee to protect rare and threatened Spring Salmon.

A classic Salmon fishing river, the Spey runs in the heart of Scotland’s malt whisky region. The iconic status of the River Spey attracts people from around the world to fish it.

This Dalmore Tweed Dram celebrates the UK's best salmon river. Dalmore donated a good proportion of profits from this bottling, when originally sold, to the river's conservation fund.

The Tay dram was aged in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. When originally released, Dalmore donated £4 from every bottle sold to the Tay Foundation.

Prior to any bid being placed on a lot, close up visual inspection is to be carried out. If you are unsure in any way about the condition of the said lot, click “ask a question” above. More in-depth descriptions and additional photos can be taken upon request. Otherwise, lots are sold as seen in the pictures. The bidder understands that once you have bid, you are stating you understand this and that the checks stated above have been carried out and you are happy with the lot's condition.

TGWA may try to highlight conditions of interest of lots being sold in the auction. The majority of the items being sold are of second-hand nature and TGWA cannot be held responsible for any conditions that may not have been specified when listing the lots on the site. Thus, the bidder fully understands, prior to confirming a bid they are happy with the condition of the lot, whether it has conditions noted or otherwise.

Should there be a discrepancy between the photo and the lot title/description, the photograph holds the precedent. No claim can be lodged against a misdescribed item as all lots are sold as seen.

Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, the condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit. Loss and breakage cover is available at 3% of the hammer price as standard. If the lot is not insured, no claim can be lodged against the courier or The Grand Whisky Auction for breakage or loss in transit.
