Description

Ever since its opening in January 2021, Burn O'Bennie has been focusing on its core value of sustainability, they have been pushing boundaries with innovative distilling processes which allow them to remove 50% of heat, power and water requirements due to the concentrated wash. The distillery has also worked with notable names such as former Macallan Master Distiller David Robertson.

Burn O'Bennie celebrates the inauguration of its distillery with the release of The World is on Fire Series. This is limited series of old and rare whiskies, as well as artwork by Peter Howson, to raise much-needed awareness and support for The River Dee Trust's #onemilliontreesproject critical environmental project.

These sketches are powerful impactful pieces that portray the devastation that humans have been causing to the planet. "My vision is a hopeful one and pays tribute to the young people leading the way towards saving the planet" - Peter Howson, Artist, OBE

The first release is from the iconic Speyside distillery, Macallan. This single malt was matured in 1989, maturing for 33 years before being bottled in 2022 yielding just 200 bottles at 43% ABV. This lot also includes a framed print of Howson's artwork.

Thus, the bidder fully understands, prior to confirming a bid they are happy with the condition of the lot, whether it has conditions noted or otherwise.

Should there be a discrepancy between the photo and the lot title/description, the photograph holds the precedent. No claim can be lodged against a misdescribed item as all lots are sold as seen.
