Description

Wolfburn - Holding the prestigious title of "The Northernmost distillery on the UK mainland" Wolfburn has been working with various different local communities for bottlings. None more so than Dornoch.

This lot contains 7 x 70cl bottles:

Wolfburn - The Coronation of King Charles III 2023 57.8% 70cl.                  This single malt was bottled at cask strength in 2023 to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III and the Queen Consort on the 6th of May 2023.

Wolfburn - Lest We Forget - 100 Years of the Poppy 2021 46% 70cl.            A limited edition from Wolfburn Distillery to commemorate 100 years since the very first poppy campaign. 1921 - 2021.  Only 1921 bottles were released from their finest oak casks.

Wolfburn - Postponed Mey Games 2020 46% 70cl.                                    This is the 2020 Mey Games bottling which if it wasn't postponed due to the current situation in the world, would have been the 50th Anniversary.

Wolfburn - Quarter Cask - Highland Whisky Festival (Cancelled) 2020 46% 70cl.                                                                                                            This bottling from the Wolfburn Distillery was created especially for the Highland Whisky Festival 2020 which has now been cancelled.  But by the time the lockdown started and the festival was cancelled, production of the bottles had already begun.

Wolfburn - From the Stills – Spring 2020 46% 70cl.                                    Each season Wolfburn produces a limited-release bottle exclusively for visitors to the distillery and this Spring it was released online instead.

Wolfburn - From the Stills – Summer 2020 46% 70cl.                              Each season Wolfburn produces a limited-release bottle exclusively for visitors to the distillery and this Summer it was released online instead.

Wolfburn - 2013 Distillery Manager's Cask 57.9% 70cl.                        Wolfburn Manager Casks were laid down shortly after their very first casks were laid in January 2013 - it is one of Wolfburn’s oldest sherry butts and was hand-picked for its quality. Having previously held Oloroso sherry, the Spanish oak has matured the single malt into a rounded, vibrant, and enjoyable whisky. This is one of 640 bottles.
