Description

Suntory Whisky was founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii. For over three generations, Suntory's master blenders have devoted themselves to pursuing the harmony of Japanese nature and craftsmanship. Shaped through masterful technique and served with a reverence for Japanese omotenashi, Suntory whiskies are among the most awarded and admired in the world.

This lot includes 4 x 70cl 100th Anniversary limited edition bottlings of the following:

  • Hakushu - 12 Year Old, 43% ABV: Hakushu is the verdant single malt Japanese whisky born in Japan's mountain forest distillery. This single malt was matured for 12 years before being bottled.
  • Yamazaki - 12 Year Old, 43% ABV: Yamazaki is the pioneer of single malt Japanese whisky, born in Japan's first and oldest malt distillery. This single malt was matured for 12 years before being bottled.
  • Hakushu - 18 Year Old - Peated Malt, 48% ABV: This Hakushu is a peated malt. It matured at Japan's mountain forest distillery for 18 years prior to being bottled. 
  • Yamazaki - 18 Year Old - Mizunara, 48% ABV: This Yamazaki was matured in a Mizunara Japanese Oak cask for 18 years prior to being bottled.

Loss and breakage cover is available at 3% of the hammer price as standard. If the lot is not insured, no claim can be lodged against the courier or The Grand Whisky Auction for breakage or loss in transit.
