This lot includes:
- Shizuoka Edition No.2 - The Unparalleled - 50% ABV; Distilled October 2018, bottled April 2022. Matured in ex-bourbon cask #324. One of 280 bottles. This edition is called "The Unapralled" and the design is inspired by the famous war general Han-Shing, who is strong in strategy as well as physical strength, helped the first emperor of the Han dynasty in ancient China to unify all of China and to start his reign. Thus, he was honoured with the title "The Unparalleled" for his many incomparable achievements.
This single cask of Shizuoka Japanese has also been called "The Unparalleled" due to being thought of as superior value and quality to others! - Shizuoka Edition No.3 - The Infinity - 50.3% ABV; Distilled in December 2018. Bottled in May 2022. Matured in ex-bourbon cask #323. One of 151 bottles. "The Infinity" is an important concept in China's intellectual history, which elaborates
on the formation of the universe from infinity to Taiji. "The infinity" is the beginning of all things; Taiji, is the end of all things. In the movie "The Promise", 'infinity' represents the end of destiny. A goddess offers a poor orphaned girl beauty and a lavish life and all men will helplessly fall in love with her. But, she can never experience true love, and should she find it she is destined to lose it. The girl takes the offer. Kunlun the slave wears the mask of General Guangming to save the girl but makes her mistakenly believe that her saviour is Guangming. Kunlun loves her from the bottom of his heart but chose to leave. In the end, Kunlun goes back in time and gives the girl another chance to choose her life.
