This limited edition double matured, single malt Laphroaig 18-Year-Old is the proud achievement of all at Laphroaig Distillery. It is aged for 8 years in a first-fill bourbon cask before finishing its maturation for 10 years in an amontillado cask.
James McGregor selected this cask to celebrate his incredible service at Laphroaig. James started his time at the distillery on the 20th of October 1975. He is due to hand up his legendary warehousing gloves on the 31st of May 2023. Cask 073 was bottled to be enjoyed by all friends at the Laphroaig Open Day Fèis ìle 2023.
