Distilled on Islay in 201, this unique expression is bottled from one hand-picked cask of Laphroaig. Cask #807488 was a Pedro Ximenez Hogshead which yielded 311 bottles at a strength of 61.9% ABV.
Each aspect of this liquid is created by characteristics that are special to the cask. The cask's wood type, its size, the location where it was aged, and the time spent in the barrel means no two selections are the same.
Master blenders spend a lifetime perfecting the art of balancing casks to create a consistent signature style.
Single Cask Selection gives you the opportunity to taste a Laphroaig with distinctly different characteristics - a Laphroaig that will never be repeated.
