Description

England’s Bimber Distillery has announced a new line of single malts, dubbed Shoulder of Giants, that pays tribute to the world’s greatest thinkers, innovators and visionaries. The first batch of whiskies in the collection are single casks, three of which are exclusive to Poland, with the other three only available in the UK.

Bimber - Shoulders Of Giants - Newton:

This release celebrates Sir Isaac Newton’s contribution to our understanding of science.

This single malt has been matured for an undisclosed length of time in first-fill American oak ex-Bourbon cask #467 before being bottled in April 2024 at a strength of 58.3% ABV.

This is one of only 257 bottles produced.

Bimber - Shoulders Of Giants - Novelist:

This release celebrates Charles Dickens's contribution to our appreciation of literature.

This single malt has been matured for an undisclosed length of time in first-fill American oak ex-Bourbon cask #398 before being bottled in April 2024 at a strength of 58.3% ABV.

Bimber - Shoulders Of Giants - Playwright:

This release celebrates William Shakespeare’s contribution to the English language.

This single malt whisky has been drawn from the distillery’s first release of ex-barley wine casks, created in partnership with French brewery La Debauche. Then it has been additionally matured in an ex-beer cask before being bottled in April 2024 at a strength of 57.7% ABV.

This is one of only 271 bottles produced.
