Description
Opened in 1825, Glencadam Distillery is a historic distillery located within the ancient city and Royal Burgh of Brechin in the eastern Highlands of Scotland.
Glencadam Reserve de Porto Tawny has been created by the Master Distiller, who has carefully selected single malt matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks from Glencadam's historic dunnage warehouses.
These casks have then been expertly married then finished in Tawny Port barriques specially sourced from Portugal. Finishing in the Tawny Port barriques has helped our whisky to develop refined characteristics, which add greater depth, complexity and flavour.
Glencadam Reserva de Porto Tawny has been bottled at 46% alcohol by volume to retain the whisky's unique and natural characteristics and subtley of taste. By not chill filtering this whisky it ensures that the aromatic components are preserved to enhance presence and flavour. No caramel colouring has been added so that the naturalness of the whisky from the cask can be enjoyed to the full.

Loss and breakage cover is available at 3% of the hammer price as standard. If the lot is not insured, no claim can be lodged against the courier or The Grand Whisky Auction for breakage or loss in transit.
