Description

Built by the Harvey brothers in 1881, Bruichladdich is situated on the Isle of Islay. For several years Bruichladdich was known as the local's drink of choice, and to many people's surprise, it is an unpeated dram. The distillery was in production from its opening until 1995 when it closed, it was shortly resurrected in 2001 when Murray McDavid purchased the distillery a year before.

Since 2000, other variants from the distillery were released, courtesy of Master Distiller Jim McEwan, the medium-peated Port Charlotte inaugural bottling came in 2006 and the heavily-peated Octomore inaugural bottling came in 2008. In 2012 French drinks group Rémy Cointreau bought Bruichladdich. Towards the decade, plans for the distillery to build its maltings were unveiled and barley trials started to test sustainable farming practices.

The Bruichladdich Links collection was created in partnership with Graeme Baxter, a famous world-leading Golf Course artist. It is a series of releases, each featuring a different golf course.

K Club Ireland ''16th Hole'" is the sixth release in the Bruichladdich Links collection. The label and the presentation tube of this 14-year-old single malt depict the art of the very talented Graeme Baxter. This is one of 12,000 individually numbered bottles.

Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, the condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
